Lauren initially set out to become a lawyer, and enrolled in psychology at university as an elective. She soon found herself avoiding (and extremely bored by) her legal studies and prioritising her psychology coursework. She quickly reevaluated her future career choices, and enrolled in the Bachelor of Psychology at Deakin University. She has been enamoured with how the brain works and the drivers of human behaviour ever since, and feels privileged to share in the emotional and psychological experiences of others in her work.
Lauren lived in Brisbane QLD for 2 years and completed the Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland. She loved the sea (and sun) change but reluctantly returned to Melbourne for her husband’s career progression, allowing her to enjoy the complete COVID-19 pandemic experience while starting her career as a psychologist.
Much has changed since then, and Lauren loves her quieter coastal life in Geelong with her husband and young kids. Outside of the clinic, Lauren can be found walking the dogs with her family, going to the beach, enjoying music and theatre shows, and sharing a meal with her friends.
